Community Association Manager (CAM)
Learn the basic real estate principles of Georgia law during this 24 Hour CE Series. Courses will cover the transition process and turnover from declarant control to an owner-elected board of directors, the responsibilities of directors and officers of community associations, the federal laws regulating enforcement issues in community associations, how to deal with common contract pitfalls, and much more. Students will also be introduced to the numerous books and records a corporation is required to keep pursuant to Georgia law as well as learn to create operating and capital reserve budgets, how to evaluate a debtor for potential collections and what to expect when litigating a collection matter.
About the Instructor
Jamie Lyons, Jamie Lyons, of counsel with Lazega & Johanson, is a veteran Community Association Attorney. Licensed in 1994 as an instructor of the Georgia Real Estate Commission, Jamie has taught the Community Association Management pre-licensing course since its inception in 1996 and has received awards for her excellent programs. Jamie also regularly teaches for the Atlanta Board of REALTORS® about timely topics in the real estate industry.
